Die letzten zwei Samstage waren wir außer Haus und deswegen waren wir natürlich auch nicht auf dem Markt. Um dem leeren Kühlschrank entgegenzusteuern, bin ich heute auf den Markt gegangen.
Verständlicherweise ist unter der Woche nicht so viel los und dementsprechend sind auch nicht alle Stände da. Somit hatte ich keine Möglichkeit Eier zu kaufen. Der Käsestand ist unter der Woche auch nicht so gut. Ich mag den Verkäufer nicht. Auch gibt es nicht so eine große Auswahl an Käse (ich habe keinen Taleggio heute bekommen).
Dafür habe ich gleich bei den Pfingstrosen zugegriffen. Die gibt es ja immer nur so kurz. Und ich liebe Pfingstrosen. Diesmal habe ich wunderschöne lila und weiß pink gesprenkelte bekommen.
Ansonsten gab es:
die ersten Erdbeeren vom ansässigen Bauern (leckerst!), Mangold, Rote Beete, Frühlingszwiebeln, Brokkoli, neue Kartoffeln, Tomaten, Möhren, Dill und Gurke.
As we didn’t were at home the last two Saturdays, we weren’t at the market, too. Of course. To fill the empty fridge I went there today.
Of course there aren’t as many stands in the week as on Saturday. I couldn’t buy eggs for example. The cheese stand is not the same during the weeks. I don’t like the salesman. The range is also smaller (they had no Taleggio today).
Therefore I bought some beautiful peonies, which I love very much. Unfortunately they have only a short period. I got wonderful purple and white speckled with pink ones.
Apart from that, I bought:
the first strawberries from our local farmer, Swiss chard, scallions, new potatoes, carrots, dill, cucumber, beets, broccoli and onions.
