Es gibt viel zu wenig Hebammen in Deutschland und es werden sicherlich weniger, wenn sich die Regierung und die Krankenkassen ein vernünftiges Versicherungsmodell für die Hebammen ausdenkt. Ich bin immer wieder erschüttert, dass sich in dieser Hinsicht nichts tut und das Problem einfach ausgesessen wird. Erschreckend finde ich aber auch teilweise die Meinung von Leuten (gerne auch Männern!), die meinen man bräuchte ja eh keine Hebamme! Originalzitat: „youtube reicht ja auch!“ (es ging um die Wochenbettbetreung). Ich kann diese Meinung kein bisschen nachvollziehen und finde es schlimm, wenn man diese Meinung ohne jegliche Erfahrung vertritt.
Ich möchte eine Hebamme, meine Hebamme mit Wochenbettbetreuung und mit allen Leistungen die mir zustehen, egal wo ich gebären möchte. Warum sperrt man sich so dagegen? In England geht es doch auch nachdem dort mit den gleichen Probleme gekämpft wurde wie in Deutschland.

Alles bekommen jetzt auf einmal Babys. Puh. Was kann man Eltern mit einem Neugeborenen bringen? Essen! Hier gibt es viele tolle Beispiele.
Unterstützt ihr eure Handwerksmetzger? Ich hoffe doch! Wenn nicht oder wenn ihr nicht konsequent genug seid (doch mal die Wurst bei Aldi mitnehmen oder das Fleisch?) könnt ihr hier lesen was passiert. Nicht immer ist das einfach und bequem, aber auf dem Weg zum Einkaufen kann man dort schon vorbei und Fleisch und Wurst lässt sich oft auch wunderbar einfrieren!
Ich plane übrigens auch wieder einen Post über meine regionalen Einkaufsstätten, zwei Metzger werde ich dort auch empfehlen!

Natürlich kann man es den einzelnen Männern nicht wirklich anlasten, wenn sie sich regelmäßig besser darstellen als sie sind, sie folgen ja nur den Spielregeln, so wie sie heutzutage im Management üblich sind. Aber wie klug ist es, nun auch noch die Frauen dazu bringen zu wollen, genauso unsinnig zu agieren? Wäre es nicht besser, die Tatsache, dass Frauen im Schnitt eine realistischere Selbst- und Situationseinschätzung vornehmen, dafür zu nutzen, die Spielregeln zu ändern?

Aber nein, die eingefahrenen Gewohnheiten zu hinterfragen, das wäre wohl zu viel verlangt. Viel einfacher ist es ja, die Schuld auf die Frauen abzuwälzen. So funktioniert das mit der Gleichstellung schon immer: Gemeint ist immer nur die Gleichstellung der Frauen mit den Männern, nie andersrum. Selbst dann nicht, wenn das, was die Frauen machen, mit Abstand das Vernünftigere ist.

Stimme absolut zu! Die Hebammensituation geht gar nicht und ja: Kreativ sein kann manchmal ganz schön anstrenged sein. Der Druck, den man sich dabei selbst leider viel zu oft auferlegt, ist dabei auch keine große Hilfe.
Ich finde den Druck von außen, z.B. durch die genannten Massen-Brainstormings viel schlimmer. Ich kann erstens nicht denken, wenn andere reden und dann hocke ich da wie der Ochs vorm Berg. Hab aber auch gleichzeitig das Gefühl, dass von anderen auch nichts sinnvolles kommt. Aber wie in dem Artikel steht, ist das auch kein Wunder ;).
Gegenüber mir bin ich in letzter Zeit sehr entspannt, aber ich fühle mich auch sehr kreativ. Vielleicht liegt es daran, dass ich einen recht unkreativen Job habe und deshalb viel kreative Denkleistung übrig habe.
