[:de]Ausgebrannt, that’s me.
Ich mag nicht mehr. Die letzten Monate habe ich den Blog nur so mitgezogen. Es hat keinen Spaß mehr gemacht.
Auch wenn ich immer dachte der Druck von außen, von anderen Bloggern, macht mir nichts aus, so ist es doch nicht ganz so. Ich bin zwar ein relativ entspannter Mensch, aber ich habe mir selbst eingeredet, dass ich einmal die Woche bloggen muss. Was für ein Schmarrn!
Ich habe meine Inspiration verloren. Das Kochen macht keinen Spaß mehr. Die Kreativität leidet. Fotografieren macht mir gerade am meisten Spaß, aber die Jahreszeit macht mir da gerade einen Strich durch die Rechnung.
Dann sind da noch andere Blogger, verschiedene Klüngel, die alle so „hip“ tun, überall dabei sind und so präsent sind. Irgendwie nervt das. Nicht weil ich auch so sein möchte. Nee, wer mich kennt weiß, dass ich so gar keine Rampensau bin. Was nervt ist diese Omnipräsenz. Von manchen Menschen, von manchen Themen. Diese Themen sind anscheinend massentauglich und stoßen immer wieder auf offene Ohren. Ich finde es einfach nur nervig und dumm. Genauso wie Helene Fischer und Cro. So gibt es auch Helene Fischer und Cro unter den Bloggern. Und warum sollte man sich etwas anschauen, was man doch einfach gar nicht mag? Nur um „auf dem Laufenden“ zu bleiben? Nee, das tu ich mir mit der Helene auch nicht an.
Deshalb ist jetzt Schluß damit! Ich lese nur noch was mich interessiert. Abonniere nur was mich interessiert. Umgebe mich mit Leuten die ich respektieren kann. Alles andere ist Zeitverschwendung, ich lebe nur einmal.
Bestätigt wurde ich schon in meinem Handeln: Beim Entfolgen des ein oder anderen, wurde ich 1:1 auch entfolgt. Es geht vielen Leuten überhaupt nicht um Interesse. Es geht nur darum „gelikt“ zu werden, eine möglichst große Followerzahl zu haben, ob ehrlich oder nicht. Sind wir unter Bloggern schon so weit, dass es heißt „Zahn um Zahn“? Für was? Pressereisen? Küchenmaschinen? Bücher? Goodiebags? Das große Ego?
Okay, ich bin raus!
Furchtbar ist doch, dass es nicht nur mir so geht! Viele Blogs haben in den vergangenen Monaten bewusst aufgegeben. Von vielen höre ich privat, dass sie diesen Druck genauso mitbekommen wie ich. Auch Dani von flowers on my plate hat den Blog vorübergehend an den Nagel gehängt, weil sie nicht mehr kann.
Eigentlich dachte ich ne ganze Weile, dass wir Foodblogger ne schöne Gemeinschaft sind. Wahrscheinlich weil ich (glücklicherweise) weit außerhalb des Geschehens war. Doch taucht man hier und da mal ein, bröckelt die Fassade. Missgunst gibt es von allen Seiten.
Zum Glück gibt es noch Lichtblicke! Blogs die unabhängig sind und nicht zu 90% aus Werbeposts bestehen. Kleine, aber feine Blogs, die gute Nischen besetzen und von Sympathieträgern geschrieben werden. Menschen die ihren Blog nicht für den Lebensunterhalt führen, sondern zum Spaß, neben anstrengenden und stressigen Jobs. Menschen, denen es wie mir um gutes Essen, Nachhaltigkeit und Reiselust geht, deren Blogs lese ich besonders gerne. Nicht um Networking.
Diese Menschen geben mir die Chance in den nächsten 2 Monaten vom Blog abzuschalten, Kraft und Energie, sowie Inspiration zu tanken. Zeit für andere Dinge zu finden und diesen Blog trotzdem lebendig zu halten!

[:en]I’m burned out.
I don’t want this, anymore. I dragged this blog along for the past few months. It didn’t make fan, anymore.
Although I always thought that the pressure from outside, from other bloggers, wouldn’t impact me, it isn’t quite like that. I am a quite relaxed person, but I persuaded myself that I had to blog once a week! What a rubbish!
I lost my inspiration. I lost my appetite for cooking. My creativity is suffering. Photographing is the one thing that is fun for me, but the season is not very forgivable.
Then there are other blogger, different cliques, which are all so „hip“ and present everywhere. It kinda annoying. Not because I want the same. For sure not! If you know me really, you know I don’t want to be in the spotlight. This omni-presence of some people and some topics is annoying. Topics, that attract the masses, who always have an open ear for the same boring stuff. I think this is stupid and a pain in the neck. Like Helene Fischer and Cro. There are also Helene Fischers and Cros amongst the bloggers. And why should one watch things one even doesn’t like? Just to be up to date? No, thanks, I don’t do this with Helene either.
This is the end of it! I will only read what is interesting for me. Subscribe what interests me. Surround me with people I respect. Everything else is a waste of time, I only live once.
I already was confirmed in my actions: As I unfollowed some people, the instant reaction was that they unfollowed me, too. Those people do not act because of interest. They just act to be „liked“, to have a large followership, truthful or not. Are the bloggers already that far, to call it „a tooth for a tooth“? For what? Press trips? Kitchen machines? Books? Goodiebags? The hugh ego?
Okay, I’m out!
But isn’t it terrible, that I am not the only one feeling like this! Many blogs closed in the last months, puposely. Many tell me in private that they perceive the pressure the same as I do. Dani from flowers on my plate also pauses her blog for a while, because she doesn’t want to go on at the moment.
Originally I thought for a while that we food bloggers are a nice community. Probably because I (luckily) was far away from the events. But as you dive in here and there, the facade crumbles. Enviousness everywhere.
Luckily there are also glimmer of light! Blogs, that are independent and do not consist 90 % of ads. Small, but decent blogs, that are filling niches and are written by appealing figures. People who do not write the blog for a living, but for fun, besides a straining and stressful day job. People, who are into good food, sustainability and traveling the world like me, thir blogs I love to read. Not into networking.
Those people give me the chance to take a step back from the blog in the next two months. To refuel power, energy and inspiration. To find time for other things and still keep this blog vivid!
Therefore Jens from gekleckert, Ylva from Der Klang von Zuckerwatte, Julia from Chestnut & Sage, Dani from flowers on my plate, Sabrina and Steffen from feed me up before you gogo will write posts here in the next months.

Dein Geschriebenes bestätigt mich allerdings mal wieder in Zurückhaltung vor Geklüngel (mir würd nicht mal auffallen, wenn irgendjemand mich „entfollowt“ – und für andere Blogs fehlt mir oft die Zeit. Drum les ich sowieso nur die, die ich mag – wenn überhaupt. Und das muss auch ok sein. Du und deine Zeit – das ist wichtig! Ich wünsch dir alles Gute!

Es tut mir immer leid, sowas von Leute zu lesen, deren Blogs ich echt gern lese – nicht aus Ego-Sicht, weil deren Beiträge für mich ausbleiben, sondern weil ich nicht möchte, dass eben jene Personen -die mir natürlich auf eine Art und Weise sympathisch sind- sich so fühlen müssen. Ich verstehe deine Gedanken voll und ganz, aber glaub mir: du brauchst dich nicht an Helene-Bloggern & Co. zu messen. So wie du das bisher gemacht hast, ist das schon genau richtig. Ich wünsche dir eine schöne Auszeit und hoffe, dass du deinen Spaß am Kochen wieder findest. Wenn dann auch die Lust zum Bloggen wieder kommt, umso besser. Und wenn nicht, geht die Welt auch nicht unter. Hauptsache, du fühlst dich gut damit.

Das ist sehr schade, aber manchmal muss man diesen mutigen Schritt wagen, um in sich selbst zu suchen, was einem am bloggen so begeistert hat und wann es weniger wurde. Es erfordert Größe zu sagen „ich mach nicht mit auf dem Jahrmarkt der Eitelkeiten „. Trotzdem denke ich, die Welt ist groß genug für uns alle. Jeder bekommt seine Leser.
Vor langer Zeit kam ich als 15 Jährige ins Ballett des Stadttheaters. Ich war unfassbar glücklich, glaubte ich doch hier nur von den zufriedensten Menschen umgeben zu sein, denn sie alle durften ihre große Leidenschaft leben. Es war ernüchternd. Missgunst und Heuchelei waren allgegenwärtig. Das wird es immer geben, diese Getriebenen. Aber man kann sich damit arrangieren. Nicht jeder liebt die Pfauen.
Ich wünsche dir, dass du deine Lust am Bloggen wiederfindest.

Sowas zu lesen ist immer sehr schade, aber ich kann dich sehr gut verstehen denn ich habe dasselbe auch mitgemacht.
Mein Blog lag locker 2 Jahre still, dann hatte ich wieder Lust und Ideen weiter zu schreiben. Und obwohl ich irgendwie beim 2. Anlauf ziemlich langsam und mit mäßigem Erfolg vor mich hin schreibe, macht es mir wieder richtig viel Spaß! Denn ich muss mir und niemandem etwas beweisen. Ich muss nichts erreichen. Ich muss nur Spaß haben. Das macht Spaß!

Wie traurig und gleichzeitig tröstend so etwas zu lesen. Ich blogge erst seit gut zwei Jahren, deshalb kann ich nicht sagen ob der Druck vielleicht einmal weniger war. Ich spüre ihn auf jeden Fall, kann ihn nicht völlig ignorieren und habe manchmal Mühe, mir davon nicht die Laune verderben zu lassen. Ich bemühe mich, den Blog wirklich nur als Hobby zu sehen, nur zu tun und lassen was mir gefällt, aber so ganz von selbst läuft das leider nicht.
Deshalb: Vielen Dank für deine Worte. Es ist schön zu lesen, dass man mit derartigen Empfindungen nicht alleine da steht.
